Ironworkers are craftsmen who erect, assemble or install fabricated structural metal products, usually large metal beams, in the erection of industrial, commercial or large residential buildings.
Daniel Conn and Richard Taylor competed in the District Council Apprenticehip Competition in Youngstown, OH on May 16, 2009. Dan finished 2nd and Richie finished 3rd. Dan won the column climb and Richie won the burning competition.
They represented Local 549 well and we are very proud of them.
Union Meetings
Union Meetings will be held the 3rd Friday of every month at 8:00 PM at the Union Hall.
